Baked by you at home

I posted up our recipe for bread sticks and was delighted with, none other than, The Baking Nanna on twitter showing off her sticks that she had made with our Cheese & Onion mix.  “It was pizza night tonight and I always use @Wrightsbaking Cheese and Onion bread mix for the base and I had some dough left so I rolled in some mozzarella and sesame seeds and made some bread sticks for #TwitterBakeAlong” These are fanta’stick bread sticks – thanks!

Valentina made some fresh blueberry and lemon cupcakes for a Christening, creating a beautiful base cake with our self raising flour.  Topped with a lemon drizzle flavoured icing for her buttercream roses – she also created some hydrangea cupcakes with a vanilla flavoured icing for the Christening to complement the buttercream rose cupcakes – Thank you.

I just love this loaf that Richard baked in 6” Springform Cake Tin.  I love the rise and the cuts at the top almost look like an Easter cross or am I just in need of another break?  Made with our delicious Malty bread mix & thoroughly enjoyed I am told! Thanks.

Bex – you have been busy recently – sending in an array of bakes using our cake mixes! Best of all were these Orange cakes which were baked with an orange and rum glaze – fruity, boozy & definitely delicious. Thank you!

Thanks Lynn for sending in her “recent practice before the Macmillan Coffee Morning event in September of this year”.  Well we all love a good coffee morning for a good cause! This was made with our awesome Orange Cake Mix and so delightfully decorated.  Someone is in for a ‘Wright’ treat this weekend!

Sammie’s Cherry Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Focaccia – words in pictures!  The dough stage, the baked stage and the family later tearing, sharing & enjoying.  This was actually created with our Strong White Flour, Sammie added the yeast and water to create this dreamy dough before baking.

Sandy has created this clever cake for a 50th birthday with our Chocolate Fudge cake mix.  Covered in a chocolate fudge icing and decorated with chocolate fingers, Mars bites, Minstrels, Malteaser buttons and Twirl bites.  I believe the recipient is a bit of a chocoholic so am sure this went down well.  Thanks Sandy.

Thanks Till for your awesome Apple & Oat bread that you created with our Mixed Grain bread mix. Till threw in some apple, oats, grains and oatmeal to make this marvellous museli type loaf. Thank you so much.

Well, wedding season is upon us and we are seeing some wonderful wedding cakes – obviously there are also anniversary cakes required to celebrate, like this beautiful 30 year anniversary cake made by Emma who “used the Wright’s Chocolate Fudge cake mix for this one & I’ve had nothing but compliments saying how yummy it is”. How lovely – thank you.

Wow we are bowled over with Rob’s Cheddar Cheese and Onion loaf made our bread mix and simply shaped in his banneton basket, before baking. Rob said it “smells amazing”. It just looks so beautiful Rob – thanks. If anyone wants to have a go at shaping bread in a banneton, we have a special Father’s Day bundle available currently with an apron, set of measuring cups/spoons, a banneton basket & other goodies.
