Loaded Easter Cookies

A straightforward family favs recipe made for reliable results and enjoyable home baking.
Loaded Easter Cookies

Step #1

Combine the madeira cake mix, butter, water and chocolate chips in a bowl and mix until you have a cookie dough consistency.

Step #2

Roll the dough into balls weighing at least 125g each, then place them on a lined baking tray.

Step #3

Press a Creme Egg into the centre of each dough ball, making sure it’s completely enclosed. Crush the mini eggs in their bag with a rolling pin, then sprinkle and press the pieces onto the tops of the dough balls.

Step #4

Transfer the tray to the freezer for at least an hour, ensuring the cookies are fully frozen before baking.

Step #5

When they’re ready to bake, heat the oven to 180°C and bake the cookies for 10 minutes.

Step #6

Let them cool until they’re just warm and enjoy as an afternoon treat.
