Ingredients
- Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix 5 x 500g
- Water 200ml
- Vegetable Oil 60ml
- Topping:
- Either a shop bought chocolate frosting pot approx. 300g
- Or, make buttercream with Icing sugar 300g
- & Unsalted butter 150g + Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 50g
Mix the 500g of Chocolate Fudge cake mix with the 200ml of water and 60ml of oil for 1 – 2 minutes to form a smooth batter
Line a standard 12 hole muffin tray tin with muffin cases.
Divide the mixture between the muffin cases.
Bake in a preheated oven 160 – 180°C (360°F, Gas Mark 4) for 20-22 minutes until firm to the touch.
Allow to cool completely before decorating.
If using a shop bought Chocolate Frosting – pipe this on the top of the cooled cakes.
If creating your own buttercream, beat the butter, icing sugar & cocoa powder for 4 – 5 minutes with an electric whisk or machine, until smooth and creamy before piping on the top of the cakes.
