Baked by You: September’s Highlights

A range of breads and cakes have been baked by you this month. Below are some of the highlights.

Have you considered mixing a fizzy drink with one of our cake mixes?

That’s what customer Toni did here – mixing our Orange Cake Mix with Fanta instead of water! She also added chocolate chips and marmalade. When we shared this on Facebook, we got lots of responses from others who have made their own creations, including Coca Cola with Chocolate Fudge, Guinness with Chocolate Fudge, Ginger Beer with Ginger, Orangeade with Orange, Lemonade with Madeira, and Ginger Beer with Carrot!

Delicious bread baked by a customer on Twitter. ‘And it’s out, hot and fresh, and always consistent with Wrights flour.’ We love a happy customer and this loaf looks perfect!

What an elegant wedding anniversary cake! Self-taught baker ‘RoRees Bakes’ created this beautiful cake using both our Chocolate Fudge and Madeira Cake Mixes. She says our mixes are the best she’s used and her customers love them!
