National Coffee Cake Day

Coffee cake was created to be eaten while enjoying a cup of coffee.  The coffee cake is often flavoured with cinnamon or other spices, seeds, nuts and fruits.

You can substitute the 3 tablespoons of warm water for the topping with Bailey’s, if desired, before mixing with the icing sugar. Bailey’s iced toffee cakes are a special treat.
