N21 Festival – The Fancy Fair 8th July 2017
May 7, 2017
We are attending this years Festival on Winchmore Hill Green on Saturday 8th July 2017. We did attend this lovely local event a few years ago and they have named the day “The Fancy Fair”, after the saying used in Henrietta Cresswell’s book, Memories of a Lost Village, written about the area in the late 1800s.
The Fancy Fair will be opened by Mr David Burrowes MP and The Mayor of Enfield and the fun will begin at 10.00am promptly.
We should be visible as we will have an end plot around the green to accommodate our Old Bedford vintage vehicle which we will be taking. We will only have a small area and therefore, a small selection of bread and cake mixes so pop and see us as early as you can then enjoy a glass of wine, peruse the huge range of local crafts and gifts from the diverse eclectic stalls, enjoy festive food and all the excitement going on the stage of the Village Green. Its the best day out in the Winchmore Hill calendar & just up from Winchmore Hill British Rail Station.
