NATIONAL PRETZEL DAY

There is nothing like a few sea salted, warm pretzels or a soft cinnamon pretzel, sweet or savoury is the question of the day!

According to The History of Science and Technology, in 610 AD, it was an Italian monk who invented pretzels as a reward to children who learn their prayers.  With the strips of baked dough folded to resemble arms crossing the chest.


Our pretzels, made from our Parmesan & Sundried Tomato bread mix, look great sprinkled with various seeds.

Try sesame seeds on some and poppy on another for a professional touch to your home baking.
