Ingredients
- Toffee Cake Mix 5 x 500g
- Wright’s Toffee Cake Mix 500g
- Apple Pie Filling 1 x 400g tin
- Water 150ml
- Vegetable Oil 60 ml
- Demerara Sugar 50g
METHOD – (Makes 1 tray – 12 to 15 portions).
Mix together all the ingredients listed above for the “Cake” to make a batter.
Pour this into a well greased or pre-lined baking tray (approx 27 x 17.5cm or 11 x 7 inches).
Sprinkle the Demerara Sugar (decoration) evenly over the top of the cake.
Bake in the oven at 180°C (360° F) gas mark 4 for approximately 30 – 35 minutes.
Allow to cool before removing from the tray and cutting into slices
