Cheesy garlic pull apart bread

If you choose not to add more garlic butter and cheese on top before cooking, you can always make a bit more to drizzle over once it’s cooked.
Cheesy garlic pull apart bread

Step #1

Put the bread mix into a bowl and add the caster sugar, softened butter, eggs and milk. Mix to form a dough, the knead for about 5 minutes, using only a little flour if needed. The dough will feel soft but will firm up as you knead.

Step #2

Cover the dough with a damp tea towel or lightly oiled plastic and leave it to rest for 5 minutes. Gently heat the filling ingredients in a saucepan until the butter has melted.

Step #3

Roll the dough out and spread one side with the garlic filling. Sprinkle over the mozzarella and cheddar.

Step #4

Cut the dough into three long strips, stack them, then cut into four equal pieces.

Step #5

Line a loaf tin with baking paper and place the four pieces side by side in the tin. If you like, add a little extra garlic butter and cheese on top.

Step #6

Bake for 3o minutes. Serve warm with your favourite pasta dish.
