Ingredients Classic Ciabatta Bread Mix 5 x 500g 350ml water 15ml olive oil 1 apple thinly sliced 2 tbsp sage 85g honey 2tbsp red chilli flakes ADD TO BASKET
METHOD In a large bowl, combine the ciabatta mix with olive oil and water to form a soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth, then cover with a damp tea towel or lightly oiled polyethene and leave to rest for 15 minutes. While the dough rests, thinly slice the apple. Measure the honey into a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds until runny. Stir in the chilli flakes. Lightly grease a loaf tin and transfer the rested dough into it. Cover again for 5 minutes. Using your fingers, press deep dimples into the dough. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top, then layer on the apple slices. Sprinkle with sage and bake at 200°C for 30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Remove from the oven and drizzle over the chilli honey. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
