Cinnamon Apple Cup Cakes

Madeira Cake Mix 5 x 500g
  • Madeira Cake Mix 5 x 500g
  • Wright’s Madeira Cake Mix 500g
  • Water 200ml
  • Vegetable Oil 60ml
  • Apple Pie Filling ½ can
  • Ground Cinnamon ½ tsp
  • Eating Apples 2
  • Ground Cinnamon ½ tsp
  • Granulated Sugar 1-2 tbsp



Method (Makes 12)

Mix all the ingredients under cake to form a batter.

Mix the ground cinnamon with the apple pie filling.

Line a standard 12 hole muffin tray tin with muffins cases.

Place a tablespoon of cake batter into each muffin case.

Place teaspoon of the cinnamon and apple pie filling on top of the cake batter.

Using the remaining cake batter place a tablespoon on top of the apple pie filling.

Keeping the skin on the apple, half, core and thinly slice.

Place the apple slices on top of muffins.

Bake in a preheated oven 190°C (375°F) gas mark 5 for 18-20 minutes until firm to the touch.

Brush the top of the muffins with the melted butter.

Mix the cinnamon with the sugar and sprinkle on top of the muffins.
