Scofa Tea Scones

METHOD

Rub the fat into the flour.
Dissolve the sugar in the milk and mix to a smooth dough, blending in the sultanas.
Pin out to 3/4” (2 cm ) thick and cut into 3” (7.5 cm) round pieces.
Place on trays and rest for 10 minutes.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 220oC (430oF) Gas Mark 7 for 12 – 15 minutes or until baked.
