This amazing cake featured, was made by Linda for a colleague leaving work. Linda used 2 of our Chocolate Fudge mixes, divided into 4 lots, baked in Swiss roll tins for 15 minutes. Butter creamed each layer and created a superb suitcase – a leaving cake they will never forget!
Our easy Orange Cake Mix – said to be a ‘taste of summer on a plate’ is now available in Morrison’s – Amelie has had great fun with it, mixing it, adding to it, modelling with it and of course – the best bit – eating it!
Loving Till’s triangles! I love this recipe for Stem Ginger Triangles actually, Till took this recipe from our website, proving these recipes work wonderfully well. Looking at his image and ours there is very little difference apart from the fact that he added some whiskey to his! Cheeky boy
Another from Till was his take on our Strawberry Madeira Mousse Cake – a lovely summer recipe that you will make again and again.
Ann tweeted us, having made “Another quicky this weekend with @Wrightsbaking Orange cake, orange and lemon buttercream and a chocolate orange topping”. Terrific traybake – thanks so much Ann.
Tina told us that “We have our grandchildren for the week and my little Emily wanted me to show you what she made today. A @Wrightsbaking Orange Cake Mix with added chocolate chips, chocolate buttercream and the flowers she made – how absolutely lovely!
Oh I love it when we hear from Linda, sharing a few more of her cakes with us. This time she has been busy with a 60th birthday using our Madeira cake mix to create 24 cupcakes for this brilliant beer glass cake. The cupcakes were arranged into a pull-apart cake which looks great. Each time I see an e mail from Linda I know instinctively that it’s going to be something creatively delicious and made with our mixes!
The Royal Wedding Cake flavours were popular last month and Debbie made this delightful looking Elderflower Gin Cake – with a lovely lemon drizzle with that marvellous Madeira of ours! Thanks for sharing this beauty with us Debbie.
Nicola added cocoa powder to her Orange Cake Mix then marbled it, saying it was “Absolutely heavenly – best I’ve ever tried. The bits of orange that burst on your tongue are fantastic”.
