BAKED BY YOU AT HOME

BAKED BY YOU AT HOME

Rich’s first attempt at a homemade pizza with our Cheddar and Sundried Tomato bread mix. With tomato, garlic butter sauce, cheddar, mozzarella, red onion & yellow pepper.  Something tells me he will be making pizza with our mix again!  Thanks Rich.

Cakesicles on a fantastically designed board – by Stef’s Brownies.  This is his Summer Vibes Edition – deliciously decorated cakesicles created with our plain flour and designed like only he can!  Well, done Stef, we feel a few more awards may be coming your way.  Cakesicles are all the rage right now. With a chocolate coating on top of your favourite cake, larger than a cake pop yet still presented hygienically on a stick.

Growing rhubarb? Recently we put our thinking caps on and came up with a rhubarb & custard cupcake.  We added 40g of instant custard & 100g of finely sliced rhubarb, with 180ml water & 60ml of oil to our Madeira mix which created some delicious cupcakes that we just had to share with you all.

Look what Linda came home to the other day! Her lovely daughter had made her some Chocolate Fudge cupcakes with our mix & topped them with a cool, vanilla swirl.

Stef could not begin to tell us just how relieved he was that his sugar flowers survived the recent heatwave. For this commission, vibrant coloured flowers were requested, and I think he broke through that nicely!  Knowing your customer is useful when supplying them with a cake the use of blue flowers against a green background were added as they are the recipient’s favourite colours.  Airbrushing played a huge part in bringing everything together & the cake, a three-layered raspberry & chocolate cake was made with our plain flour

Mmm… Pate on toast. Michelle used our Cheese & Onion Bread Mix, accompanied by light pate and red onion chutney. And it looks like someone else has their eye on it!

Our Chocolate Fudge & Madeira cake mixes were made up & marbled by Emma, aged 6 – with a little supervision from Dad!  This lovely cake was made with our Madeira & Chocolate Fudge cake mixes.  Obviously, if you use half a pack of each – you still have mix left over to create cupcakes – as they have done!

Lovely loaf made with our Strong White flour that @chataboutcakes kindly popped onto twitter account, @wrightsbaking – this one was hot from the oven.  Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Look at this 15” tall bubbling science beaker cake for a 5-year old’s birthday celebration. Baked by @stefsbrownies using our Plain Flour. This cake was collected on the hottest day of the year when it hit 33°C! Even a professional like Stephan confessed he struggled a little with the humidity during the process.

Till forgot to purchase savoury crackers. Never mind; as one of the inventors of creating crackers with our mix, he has again made his own with this easy recipe here, crafted with either our Mixed Grain or Oat & Linseed bread mix.

Karen hadn’t baked for a while, so decided on making a sultana & toffee cake with our Toffee cake mix.  Karen seemed to think she went a little overboard with the cream?  But confirmed our unlikely suspicions that it tasted delicious.

And I was right, another handsome homemade pizza from Rich – I said he would probably be making another! Again using our Cheddar & Sundried Tomato bread mix as a base. Topped with Cheddar & Red Leicester cheese + onions & green peppers. Served with his homemade garlic pizza dip on the side. Thanks Rich.

Thanks to you all for sharing your beautiful bakes with us.
