Valentine’s recipes
Whoopie! It’s Valentine’s Day on Wednesday and we have this fabulous chocolatey Whoopie Pies recipe to use and enjoy with your loved one or on your own. Made with our Madeira Cake Mix, which you can buy online or in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons, Ocado and Co-op.
Nothing says ‘I love you’ like a home-cooked meal. And we have just the thing. Here’s a Chicken & Mushroom Pie made with our Premium Bread Mix (available in Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Ocado & Lidl). Probably the tastiest recipe in our collection and great for leftover chicken or turkey. It’s delicious hot or cold, and freezes well.
Fancy a homemade pudding this Valentine’s? Our cake mixes can be used to make all sorts of delicious puddings to enjoy. Bonus – they can be created in the microwave in just 5 minutes! Our blog post has lots of microwave pudding ideas for you to choose from.
Customer bakes
Customer Lyn was hosting visitors, and she had the right idea about using our cake mixes to bake up something special… She calls them her “go-to baking saviours”! This looks delicious, and we hope her guests enjoyed it.
Look. At. That. Crust. Sammie baked this loaf using our Mixed Grain Bread Mix. She brushed the top of the unbaked loaf with water and scattered over some seeds before baking. This would pair perfectly with some soup for a warming-winter lunch!
Customer Lyn shared these photos on Twitter and said: “Absolutely LOVE Wright’s cake-mixes!! They never fail!! Just got these toffee and orange ones out of the oven! Lush! So reasonable and SO easy. Slice and freeze beautifully too.” Thank you very much, Lyn. They look fabulous.
We love to see our mixes used in the air-fryer, and this one looks like a good ‘un! Customer Michelle proved this loaf in a Ninja Kitchen air fryer, and then baked it for 25 minutes.
