NATIONAL GARLIC DAY

Garlic is recognised for its far reaching medicinal properties, in the treatment and prevention of disease.  Credited with extending human longevity, preventing certain cancers, lowering cholesterol levels, reversing high blood pressure, resisting the common cold and overcoming fatigue.  This little bulb of deliciousness infuses your savoury bakes beautifully too!


We have created these Garlic Butter and Spring Onion Knots from our Cheese & Onion bread mix and,  if you love the flavour of garlic in your home baked breads, sprinkle the top of the risen dough with a garlic infused hard cheese.


This Garlic & Herb Monkey Bread is just the job to take to a barbeque! Can be made with our Garlic & Rosemary Focaccia with little effort too – a real conversation piece!


Garlic works well on our Bruschetta. Now, with our Classic Ciabatta mix, you can create a beautiful Bruschetta in your own at home with as much or as little garlic as you like!


To finish, we have another incredible Italian dish in the form of our Wright clever Tear & Share Pizza! This is another gorgeous recipe for use with our Garlic & Rosemary mix which pleased me hugely as I am often tempted to enjoy a piece of garlic bread with a pizza and this delicious recipe combines the two!
